Choosing the Right Path for Your Business
Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision) is the predecessor to Business Central. NAV was a popular enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution used by small and medium-sized businesses to manage their operations, finances, supply chain, and more. Over time, Microsoft transitioned NAV to a cloud-based solution.
Business Central retains the core functionality of NAV but adds enhanced features, better integration with other Microsoft products, and cloud capabilities. While some businesses still use Dynamics NAV, new implementations are generally directed towards Business Central due to its modern features and cloud flexibility.
